Get three of your marks in a row — across, down or diagonally — before your opponent. The strongest openings are a corner or the center, and the key trick is a fork: a move that creates two ways to win at once, so your opponent can only block one.
Can you beat the computer on Impossible?▾
No. Impossible mode uses the minimax algorithm to search every possible game, so it never loses — the best you can do is a draw. Easy and Medium make mistakes you can exploit.
Is tic tac toe always a draw?▾
With perfect play by both sides, yes. Tic tac toe is a solved game: neither player can force a win, so two experienced players will always draw.
