How do I play the piano with my computer keyboard?▾
The bottom letter row Z X C V B N M plays the white keys of one octave and S D G H J the black keys. The top row Q W E R T Y U I plays the next octave with 2 3 5 6 7 as black keys.
Can I play chords?▾
Yes. Press several keys at once on the computer keyboard or touch several keys on a touch screen; every note sounds together.
What does sustain do?▾
Like a piano's sustain pedal, it keeps notes ringing after you let go of the keys. Hold the space bar or use the Sustain button.
Are the notes in tune?▾
Yes. Every key uses standard equal temperament with A4 = 440 Hz, so you can play along with other instruments or use it to find notes.
