Is my audio uploaded to a server?▾
No. The file is decoded and trimmed inside your browser with the Web Audio API, so your audio never leaves your device.
Why is the trimmed file saved as WAV?▾
WAV is lossless and plays in every app, so cutting does not lower the quality. If you need a smaller file, convert the WAV to MP3 afterwards.
Can I make a ringtone with it?▾
Yes. Select up to 30 seconds of a song, add a short fade in and fade out, and download the clip. Most phones accept WAV, or you can convert it to M4R or MP3.
