Your files and inputs stay on your device
The tools on clkr.work (including every *.clkr.work subdomain) process your files, text, images, PDFs and numbers inside your web browser. The tool inputs are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. The exception is the speech tools (Speech to Text and Text to Speech), which use your browser's built-in speech service — in Chrome, for example, audio or text may be processed by Google. We never receive or store it. A few tools (Online Notepad, Invoice Generator) save your work in this browser's local storage so it is still there next time; clearing this site's data removes it.
Share links
Some tools can create a link that reopens your result (for example a gradient, a color palette or a calculation). The settings are stored in the part of the link after “#”, which browsers do not send to our servers; our analytics drop it and ads are not loaded on pages opened from such a link. Anyone you give the link to can see those values, so only share it when you are comfortable with that. Tools that work with free text or files do not offer share links.
Embedded tools
Website owners can embed some tools with an iframe from clkr.work/embed. An embedded tool runs the same way as on clkr.work: inputs stay in the visitor's browser, and the same anonymous usage statistics and advertising described here apply.
Anonymous usage statistics
We use PostHog to count page views and which tool features are used (for example “a PDF was merged” or “a theme was chosen”), so we know what to improve. These events never include the content you type or the files you open. They may include technical data such as browser type, device type, approximate country and a random identifier.
Cookies
- Preferences — your theme choice and favorite tools, stored in cookies on .clkr.work so they work across all tools.
- Analytics — PostHog may set a cookie or local storage entry to recognise repeat visits anonymously.
- Advertising — we use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com or aboutads.info. See how Google uses data from partner sites.
No accounts, no selling of data
clkr.work has no user accounts and does not ask for your name, email or payment details. We do not sell personal information.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
