Frequently asked questions
How do I replace a word in a block of text?▾
Paste the text, type the word in Find and the new word in Replace with. Every match is replaced at once and the counter shows how many were changed.
How do I delete a word everywhere in my text?▾
Type the word in Find and leave Replace with empty. All matches are removed. Turn on Whole words only so the word is not removed from inside longer words.
Can I use regular expressions?▾
Yes. Turn on Regular expression to search with a pattern such as \d+ for numbers, and use $1 or $& in the replacement to insert captured text. Your text never leaves your browser.
