Frequently asked questions
Will the alarm ring if the tab is in the background?▾
Yes, as long as the tab stays open and the computer doesn't sleep. The countdown shows in the tab title, and if you've allowed notifications a system alert appears too.
Why don't I hear anything?▾
Browsers only allow sound after you interact with the page — setting the alarm or pressing Test unlocks it. Also check that the tab isn't muted and your volume is up.
What if I pick a time that has already passed today?▾
The alarm is set for that time tomorrow; the status line shows when it will ring.
How long does the alarm ring?▾
It repeats until you press Stop or Snooze, and stops by itself after 5 minutes.
