How do I record my screen with audio?▾
Tick 'Record screen / tab audio' and, when the browser asks what to share, enable its 'Share audio' option. Chrome and Edge can capture tab audio (and full-screen audio on Windows); add your microphone to narrate.
Can I record my screen on a phone?▾
Mobile browsers don't allow websites to capture the screen. Use the built-in recorder on iPhone (Control Center) or Android (Quick Settings), and use this tool on a computer.
Is the recording uploaded anywhere?▾
No. The video is recorded and stored in your browser's memory until you download it. Nothing is sent to a server.
MP4 or WebM — which should I choose?▾
MP4 plays everywhere, including iPhone, PowerPoint and most editors, and recent Chrome and Edge can record it directly. WebM is the fallback in browsers that can't record MP4 and works well on YouTube and in Chrome.
Is there a time limit?▾
No fixed limit. Very long recordings use more memory, so for sessions over an hour close other tabs or record in parts.
