How do you play the memory game?▾
All cards start face down. Flip two per turn: if they match, they stay open; if not, they flip back. Remember where each picture is and keep going until every pair is found.
What is a good score in memory?▾
The theoretical minimum is one move per pair, which only happens with luck. On a 16-card board, finishing in 12–16 moves is very good; around 20 is typical. Your best score for each board size is saved.
What's the best strategy for memory games?▾
Flip cards systematically — for example row by row — so you know which cards you've already seen. When a new card matches one you remember, go for the pair right away, and name the pictures in your head to remember them better.
Can two people play?▾
Yes. Choose 2 players to take turns on one device. A match scores a point and gives that player another turn; a miss passes the turn. The player with the most pairs wins.
Is the memory game good for kids and seniors?▾
Yes. Matching games practise short-term visual memory, attention and concentration. The easy 12-card board suits young children, while the 36-card expert board challenges adults.
