    Frequently asked questions

How are nested JSON objects converted to CSV?▾

Nested objects are flattened into dot-notation columns — address.city, address.zip. Arrays of simple values are joined with '; ', and arrays of objects are kept as JSON text in one cell.

Why does my CSV look wrong in Excel?▾

Excel in many European locales expects semicolons. Choose 'Semicolon' as the delimiter before downloading. The file also includes a UTF-8 marker so accents and emojis display correctly.

Does it handle commas and line breaks inside values?▾

Yes. Values containing the delimiter, quotes or line breaks are wrapped in double quotes and inner quotes are doubled, following RFC 4180. The CSV reader understands the same rules.

    Is my data uploaded?▾

No. Conversion happens in your browser, so private data never leaves your device.
